Welcome to Our Cascading Wiki,

I have decided to store all the information for  my  sessions  on wikis, authoring tools and podcasts on a wiki.

Why a wiki?

Unlike any handout, a wiki may actually have a life of its own. We can all add to it. It is easy to use.

Since I am not an ICT expert I thought it would be good for all of us to have this  collaborative space  to learn, experiment and share.

 

 

 

If you want to edit anything on the wiki, you need to know the password or the invite key which for our wiki is the name of the town where we all met, written in Polish.

If you have any problems using this wiki, contact me.

 HOW TO CREATE A LINK ON THE FRONT PAGE:

    Step 1. First click the Edit button (at the top or at the bottom of this website).

    (Step 2. If nobody else is editing this page you will be allowed to make changes.)

    Step 3. If you have already created your own website, find a place on this website where you would like to create a link and place your cursor there.

    Step 4. Go to the toolbar which is normally at the top of the page and click the button called "Link".

    Step 5. A pop-up window will pop up ;))) The link type must be "Wikipage".

    Step 6. Extend the list under the Link to wiki page:

    Step 7. Select the name of your subpage.

    Step 8. The Link text box is where you define what your link will look like.

    Step 9. Confirm your choice by clicking OK.

2. Record your podcast on   http://www.podomatic.com/podcast

 The login is cascading the password the same as for the wiki ( see the hint above )

 

    The subject of your podcast may be anything such as : 

    childhood memory

     an unusual thing you have done in your life

    your hobby

 

    an amusing or memorable teaching incident in your teaching career
